Here's the thing. If you're a Yank, the predictable age at which you will die is 79. For a Yank here in Europe under a National Health Care plan, their predictable lifespan is 83. In fact, "natural-lifespan" predictions in this matter are kinda-sorta "hairy". But, whatever the predicative mechanism employed, a Yank living here is going to live a longer-life - if they remain in Europe along with the other 650,000 of them Yanks who live here under a National Healthcare Service - they are going to live longer lives than those guys in the US!
