Tell me about it! I spent my childhood and teenaged years in Perth where it hits 45C with alarming regularity over in summer. I moved to Melbourne which prior experience of it being a lot colder. Of course, I visited in one of the coldest winters on record, so my view of the place was a little askew.
So my partner and I have purchased a place in the South Island of New Zealand :)
