It ain't easy being Turkey

This was supposed to be one of the moments of triumph for Turkish prime minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan. After being held for 101 days by the monsters from ISIL, 46 Turkish diplomats, security officials and their families (including small children) were finally able to return home. At the background of the touching scenes showing the kidnapped Turks reuniting with their families, the Turkish government was hyping up the story about the "brilliant release operation" that the national intelligence agency MIT had conducted without a single gun being fired and a single Lira of ransom being paid.

Many questions remain unanswered...
