This word doesn't seem difficult for me. Maybe anglophones just don't like long words.

Unquestionably, anglophones acknowledge outstretched verbalization to be disproportionately and unreasonably humongous!

<-- See? Such short English words! :)

These words are still short. By the way, I love this feature of English. In Russian there is a tendency to cut long words either, but unfortunately only in informal speech.

Like Роснефт, Сибгаз, Сбербанк, and my favorite: Союзмультфильм!

It's a form of a name abbreviation (like КГБ) and it is acceptable, cause you can name an organization with any name you like, even if it breaks some rules. But you still can not abbreviate the word тригонометрия (trigonometry), whilst English speakers have a privilege to say "trig". Thus, I feel envy.

Russians tend to abbreviate words colloquially in a similar manner.

I wished I could have been able to speak Icelandic since the moment the first female president of Iceland who had studied in Paris in her youth gave several interesting interviews on the french medias (back in the 80's) and very graciously spoke her name when asked : Vigdis Finnbogadottir. :)
