An interesting (and much overlooked) aspect of the Chelyabinsk event is to explore the reasons why most of the locals remained seemingly unperturbed by the appearance of the meteor. The footage from those car cameras shows little to no reaction from spectators. It could have a lot to do with the psyche of Russians who've gotten used to seeing all sorts of weird stuff in their life and can't be easily impressed.
