Biden has hired Cedric Richmond (who is not a direct representative of the fossil fuel industry, but appears to have pretty close ties). Hopefully, both Biden and Richmond's days of ceding to the fossil fuel industry are long behind them, and they'll work together to listen to climate activists and fight the climate crisis. But you'll forgive me if I don't hold my breath...
