As expected, Petro Poroshenko has won the Ukrainian presidential election. Most preliminary polls were predicting this outcome in the recent weeks. Probably the only surprise was the absolute majority he earned right from the first round, which helped him win the presidency without much further ado.
There are some caveats, of course...
