Just two months before the winter Olympics in Sochi, Putin has taken a big step and issued a decree, dissolving the Russian state information agency RIA Novosti. As shocking as this may sound to some, it's hardly a surprise that Dear Leader has taken such a course of action, given all the indications that kept pouring in during the recent few months.
